潘云鹤 院士

中国工程院院士 ,浙江大学教授 / Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor of Zhejiang University

Yunhe PAN, born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is an expert in computer  science & engineering. He graduated from the Department of Architecture, Tongji University, Shanghai in 1970. After graduating as a master of Computer Science in Zhejiang University in 1981, he served there as a professor, chairman of computer science & engineering department, and directors of artificial intelligence institute and industrial design institute of Zhejiang University. From May 1995 to August 2006, he served as the president of Zhejiang University. From June 2006 to June 2014, he served as the executive vice president of Chinese Academy of Engineering. He is also a member of the Academic Degrees Committee of China’s State Council, Director of the Strategic Consultative Committee of New Generation of Artificial Intelligence of China, Director-General of the China Association of Inventions, Director-General of Innovation Design Alliance of China and the Honorary Director-General of China Image and Graphics Association. Yunhe PAN is one of the pioneers in the field of intelligent CAD and computer arts. He has been engaged in computer graphics, computer-aided design, artificial intelligence and industrial design research for a long time. He has undertaken many important research projects, published many articles and achieved serious important research results in the fields of computer art, intelligent CAD, computer-aided product innovation, virtual reality, digital heritage preservation, digital libraries, intelligent city and knowledge center, which had won several national scientific and technological awards. Yunhe PAN was elected as the member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1997.

潘云鹤,男,1946年11月生于浙江杭州,计算机应用专家,中国工程院院士。原中国工程院常务副院长、浙江大学校长。第十二届全国政协常委、外事委员会主任。兼任国务院学位委员会委员、国家教材委员会委员、国家新一代人工智能战略咨询委员会组长、中国人工智能产业发展联盟理事长、中国创新设计产业战略联盟理事长、中国发明协会理事长、中国战略性新兴产业发展专家咨询委员会副主任、中国图象图形学学会名誉理事长等职。潘云鹤是中国智能CAD和计算机美术领域的开拓者之一。他长期从事人工智能、计算机图形学、CAD和工业设计的研究,在计算机美术、智能CAD、计算机辅助产品创新、虚拟现实和数字文物保护、数字图书馆、智能城市和知识中心等领域,承担过多个重要科研课题,创新性地提出跨媒体智能、数据海、智能图书馆、人工智能2.0等概念,发表多篇研究论文,取得了一系列重要研究成果,多次获得国家科技奖励。

Keyshot Title: Innovative Design in China
报告题目:中国的创新设计之路

The shift from traditional industrial design to Innovative Design is in line with the global trend. As the Bauhaus designs had been fitting the industrialization in the era of production lines, steels, glasses and concretes, the industrial design in China today has to respond to the industrial information environment in the era of digitalization, networking, and intelligentization. The historical progress of design hinges upon Innovative Design, and it is also essential for China’s new industrialization and digital economy to rely on design innovation. Zhejiang University proposed that the connotation of Innovative Design should comprise of 5 modules, namely, Scientific and Technology Innovation, Man-Machine Innovation, Cultural Innovation, Art Innovation, and Business Format Innovation, which has become an important part of The Development Strategy of the Innovative Design in China. Specifically, scientific and Technology Innovations stand as a prominent factor, as Innovative Designs play the crucial role of applying new technologies to the socioeconomic development, and the 5 categories of Scientific and Technology Innovations (information, material, biology, energy, and manufacturing) must be integrated into designs. Furthermore, the report comes to the definition that Innovative Design act as the conception, planning, and expression of major innovative actions, and by outlining the two-wheel implementation path of the innovative design of China, it also elaborates and forecasts the overall ecology of innovative design.

传统的工业设计走向创新设计是顺天应人之变。如果说包豪斯时代的设计是适应了于生产线、钢铁、玻璃与混凝土时代的工业化,那么,今天中国的工业设计也必须适应数字化、网络化、智能化时代的工业信息环境。不但设计的历史进程需要创新的设计,中国的新型工业化与数字经济也需要创新的设计。浙江大学提出了创新设计内涵由科技创新、人机创新、文化创新、艺术创新、业态创新5个模块组成,此模型现已成为“中国创新设计发展战略”的重要内容。其中,设计的科技创新尤为重要,创新设计是新技术作用于经济社会发展的重要桥梁,特别要重视将5类科技创新(信息、材料、生物、能源、制造)组合集成到设计中去。进而定义了创新设计是一种对重要创新的行动的构思、计划与表达,指出了中国创新设计的双轮实施线路,并对创新设计的整体生态进行论述与展望。
